Alliance Française de Normandie works with Accueil à la Carte to help learners explore accommodation that fits their budget and preferences. Options include host families, student residences and studios, subject to availability.

Booking & fees

The accommodation search fee is €60 per booking request. Accommodation charges are separate and payable on arrival in Rouen. Confirm current rates and arrangements with the partner centre before booking.

Request accommodation when registering for your French course. The centre recommends arriving the day before classes begin and leaving the day after they finish. Airport transfers can also be requested.

Host family

Share daily life with a French host family and practise the language beyond the classroom. Ask about bed-and-breakfast or half-board options, the location and your individual requirements.

Student residence

Combine independent living with a student community. Ask the partner centre about available rooms, private facilities, shared spaces and transport connections.

Private studio

Enjoy your own furnished space, with a kitchenette and private bathroom where available. Ask about locations, facilities and rates for your intended stay.
